1965 Mustang Fastback GT 347
This is the latest drawing I have finished a 1965 Mustang Fastback GT. 347. Very interesting drawings say the least. A beautiful car parked out in front of a puddle…and in that puddle, you guess right the reflection of the car. I knew from the start this drawing would be a challenging for me. Besides, I liked that. LOL. Every drawing has there challenges but, I think this was the most challenging. The funny thing is I started with the car reflection in the puddle before I even started the car itself. I always start with the car but for some reason I start with the puddle. Then after that I started on the car, strange enough the car gave me a little trouble at first…I think I could not get in the mood to draw it. I gave myself a couple of days off and it was just what I needed to get me back into the drawing, sure enough, that is what the problem was. I know if I showed you the picture I worked from the colour of the car isn’t spot on but its close enough. The colour I was using was to dark and muddy. However, after changing the colour of the car, I love the Car drawing it’s one of my most favourites. Has of right now I can't think of anything else to write about but, if I do I'll add it in later.

You Are An ARTIST
Well….Here I’m again...sitting in front of the computer looking at this blank white screen wondering what I should write about…it’s just has bad when I sat down and try to figure out what to put in paper or even the canvas. But most times it will flow out of me and I have something to put on my blog, this time it just me writing. I hope this don’t disappoint you too much. So, what to writing…You are an Artist.
Most of us artist feel uncomfortable thinking of ourselves as an Artist, but we are. We think artists write novels, paint pictures, choreograph ballets, act on Broadway, throw pots, shoot feature films, and dress in black…the truth is…they are all artist, just different kinds.
But each of us is an Artist. An Artist is simply someone who has good listening skills and the right to use the creative energy of the universe to bring forward something on the material level that wasn't here before. It was apart of your spirit before we could see it as a book, a painting, a ballet, a film.
So, it’s with creating a real life, With every choice, everyday, you creating a unique work of art. Something that only you can do, something beautiful and short-lived. It’s the reason you were born to leave your own permanent mark on your personal world.
Today, accept that you are creating a work of art by making big and little choices between playing it safe and risking it. Is there something you’d like to do that’s new and different? Why not order an espresso at lunch, if you’ve never tried it?
Each time you experience something new, you become open to a muse. Each time you try something different, you let the universe know you are listening. Trust your instincts. Believe your desires are blessing. Respect your creative urges. If you are willing to step out of the box and take that leap in the dark, you will discover that your choices are as real as you are, you will discover that your life is all it was meant to be. Say yes to the Artist inside you.

SUGAR MEMORIAL (11 years)
Today is a tribute day…I want to pay tribute to a cat I had for 19 years…a black cat name SUGAR. I had Sugar when I was 2 years old and now she has been gone for 11 years. She was my best little friend with fur. Today would have been her 30th birthday, can you imagine a 30 year old black cat. It would be amazing …..for me. LOL. I started out with a line drawing of Sugar. At this point I wasn’t sure what medium I should be using but, a friend (which they know who they are) said I should do Sugar in Charcoal. I never thought about that, honestly…I did think about doing her with watercolour pencils. I only have done one other artwork of Sugar, a painting back in 1997, a 5”x7”.
When I finally got the nerves to start the drawing, I started with the outline of her eyes. I thought this would help me relax and be able to focus on the drawing. I wanted to do a good job on this Charcoal Drawing of my beloved Sugar. I took a deep breath a started right on to the drawing, no turning back now…got to finished this Drawing.
Two days later, I finally finished the Charcoal Drawing of Sugar. And now, long at last I have paid tribute to a cat I had, My Dear Sugar. That is still Missed today.
“Feline Friend”
Glorious ebony fur
Shines bright in the early dawn
It captures the light of the morn
And makes it glow.
Sharp yellow eyes
Soften when you look upon me
Gentle and full of wisdom
Golden with friendship.
Elegant body
Full of grace and elegance
Illuminates power with each step
As I watch you walk the line of dawn.
Feline Friend
Now and forever
Grace my memories
As you have thoughtful graced my life.

“Cats are Wonderful Friends”
Gentle eyes that see so much,
Paws that have the quiet touch,
Purrs to signal “all is well”
And show more love than words could tell.
Graceful movements touched with pride,
A calming presence by our side--
A friendship that takes time to grow--
Small wonder why we love them so.
~Author Unknown~
“Cat Kisses”
Sandpaper kisses
On a cheek or a chin-
That is the way
For a day to begin!
Sandpaper kisses--
A cuddle and a purr.
I have an alarm clock
That’s covered in fur!

The FISH
I did these birthday cards for my boyfriend parents…they’re birthdays are together…one was on the 12th and the other was on the 13th . They are both Pisces and I designed these cards so they would fit together to make one big card…Zodiac Sign Pisces…The Fish.
My Boyfriends Mom’s card was the Red Fish and his Dad's card was the Blue Fish.
They both really liked the cards and how they were made to be together. I think one day I should make a painting based on these cards. I have blank canvas waiting for paint…maybe I should.
